Guest guest
Hi yall, I am new to the group. I was wondering if anyone else has had this reaction to remicade- about 3 days after the infusion, i get really dizzy, like vertigo, and nauseated. I've been taking phenergan or dramamine to help with it. My doc seems a little baffled by the reaction, apparently it's not real common. Guest guest
, thanks for your response. I did mtx and plaquenil for a few years, azulfidine for a few months after they had to d/c the mtx, plaq. I had high liver enzymes, extremely low RBC's and on azulfidine I was so tired I could barely get out of bed, so they d/c'd that too. So I'm doing Remicade every 6 wks for about 3 years,I guess, which my ins. co. is paying about 7,000 per treatment for, according to the last statement I saw. She's also looking at whether the remicade is really being effective or not, so I'm a little discouraged today. Feels like two steps forward and three steps back....it's enough to drive me to hershey bars. Yall have a great weekend. We're going to see Curtis Chapman in concert so that will take my mind off of " stuff. " Be blessed. Guest guest
I feel that way the day of my infusion, but I am not sure if it is the remicade or the benadryl..
