Hi All,

I was looking to have the new Lyme test, announced last year by the NIH, run on

my blood. But I can't find it anywhere and no one in the profession seems to

have heard of it, so I contacted NIH and got an email on the following:

" The VOVO test and other LIPS test for detecting antibodies for Lyme disease are

unfortunately NOT commercially available and not currently FDA approved.

Nevertheless, we still are still actively studying antibodies in Lyme disease

using LIPS and have several new promising studies in progress including

monitoring antibiotic therapy in humans and studying Lyme disease infection in

horses. We are also initiated a collaboration with Fallon to study Lyme

borreliosis.

Unfortunately, due to government regulation, we can only test blood from

patients as part of an approved clinical protocols. Lastly, I am not familiar

QRIB immunoassay test.

Let me know if I can help further. (NIH) "

Just thought I would share if anyone else was wondering about the test since it

was touted in the news. I have heard it can take years for FDA approval.

Nothing is 100% YET FOR LYME BECAUSE IT CAN HYBERBATE IN CYST FORM AND COVER ITSELF IN BIOFILM BUT THIS TEST IS A GENETIC TEST AND CAN LOCATE ALL THESE BELOW. pLEASE READ THE WEBSITE AS TO THE SENSITIVITY OF THE TEST.

If you do have this test done, please realize if doctors haven't heard about

this test, most likely none of them will accept the results.. They often stick

with what they know, good or bad...

So far, no other antibody Lyme tests are considered accurate...

Take care,

Jim
