Guest guest
Dear Dan, I can only attest to what I know. G-d loves me very much. How do I know ? because i intuit it..I feel it in my soul, mind and body..that's what can happen to someone who waits for union with G-d...and perhaps sometimes gets a foretaste., I will never convince you....its like anything else, only experience can make someone know something. OK so I am deluded...but what a delightful way to live! peace and love....better than fear and stress.No. I would never say never to anything....why close of anything so positive? Free will is something I exercise every day...do I listen just to the ego or do I give the Self a chance. Am I willful in wanting my way or will I listen to a voice suggesting another way? I am sorry that you throw out the baby with the proverbial bathtub. The RCC has a lot a faults, I grant you, but promising free will isn't one of them. Free will is always balanced by our human-ness...that goes without saying. But we all have choices which determine our present and future...no mindless fate, thank you. Dan, why not give hope a chance? Maybe it wouldn't disappoint you or let you down. What are all those millions of people who are full of the Holy Spirit through the eons and today talking about? Are they all deluded, unthinking or just weak? Well, no way I will try to convince you. Only experience itself can do that, and that is not always in our hands...we can just say yes or no. We can do what we want within our human ability and we can want what we want as long as it is within our ability as creatures not the creator. Evil for evils sake...NON SERVAM? no thank you . I cannot even give that idea houseroom. I am in love and evil is the opposite of love. I choose love and light joy and peace. Why would anyone not who isn't insane? Toni No one who knows human nature, himself or psychology would ever think we only want what we believe to be good. balderdash. We often want exactly what we know isn't the best...we want what we want because we want our will. The Greeks were wrong (dare i say that to you?) We often know the good and decide, damn it all, I want my way instead. To: <JUNG-FIRE > Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 4:00 PM Subject: An evil veterinarian? Guest guest
Dear Toni, Well, they must be full of something, at any rate. The Greeks were never wrong ;-). OK, they had the lowest level of wrongness yet seen. And they were pagan and all. Best, Dan > >> > >> Dan, > >> No, not inconsequential in the eyes of G-d ( if He has eyes???) > >> > >> No, I think the creator loves his creation too much. he doesn't > > shrug his > >> shoulders (?), but the question remains...do we have free will? > >> > >> We have both free will and we use it for our willful egotistical > > purposes, > >> and we were given love, to make that free will work for the unity of > > all. > >> All. > >> Ok, that is the way I sum it up. > >> G-d created us, not as robots but as free.
