Guest guest
Hi , It is difficult to say. If they are treating lyme, I would start with 3 minutes on the GB on frequency 432. I wouldn't run the programmed channel that comes with the GB 4000 until you have treated awhile. The herxing on the GB will be far less then that on the coil. If he doesn't herx after 3 minutes, then he can try bumping up the time by a minute and see if that makes a difference. > > A friend of mine, who just bought the GB4000, has offered to let try it on Thursday. What is a good starting time with this machine? I know it acts differently than the coil machines. > My friend did his for 5 minutes on the first day, but felt like he was hit with a truck for about 14 hours afterward, but he has been very sick with Lyme. If a person has a lighter bacterial load, can they sustain a higher time on this machine the first time? > >
Guest guest
, Thanks for the reply. Why would the Herx be less on the GB than on the coil? Is the programmed channel on the GB not 432? Why wouldn't you use the one that came with the GB4000? Thanks for your help. > > > > A friend of mine, who just bought the GB4000, has offered to let try it on Thursday. Guest guest
It is the difference of 20 Watts of power vs. 750 watts. The GB 4000 uses RF carrier frequencies which are supposed to be good at penetrating the body, but there is not a machine on the market that is as strong as the coil. I could run almost 30 minutes of Lyme frequencies on my EMEM machine and when I started the coil could only stand about 30 seconds when I began. > > > > > > A friend of mine, who just bought the GB4000, has offered to let try it on Thursday. Guest guest
Hi , The reason I would not use the programmed Lyme channel when you are first starting out is that the GB 4000 runs 8 different frequencies at once, in five minute increments. This would be the equivalent of running 40 minutes on any other machine that runs one frequency at a time. Until you know how hard you are going to herx from 432, I would not run a bunch of Lyme frequencies simultaneously as the herx would flatten you if you have a big load. If you have a big Lyme load even 3 minutes might cause a big herx. You just need to proceed cautiously until you know how much your body can tolerate. > > > > > > A friend of mine, who just bought the GB4000, has offered to let try it on Thursday. Guest guest
Hi , I haven't used a GB4000, but for any other machine than the Doug Coil I would start with just 1 minute and work up from there... I wrote this to help new folks understand about treatments and herxes... >>>>We can not make getting better from these diseases any faster as the herx is always going to be the bottleneck... Kill off too much, endure a bad herx, then we are no longer killing anything as you have to wait for this to pass before doing another session, this can take weeks or longer of being very sick... We gain nothing from pushing the envelope! Shooting for good medium herxes, 1 - 3 days of feeling crappy, BUT not sick is what we want.. This is not only keeps us ahead of the disease, but also does so without being so ill.. I've learned this lesson the hard way, but also have seen many others learn their own lessons... These bad herxes do teach us to slow down.. When we feel something is too much for our body, pull back or stop for a few days.. Then next time around, keep the dose or session time lower. Don't scale up quickly on any protocol, killing too many pathogens too quickly is going to equal a real bad herx... The intensity of a herx will always determine our next dose or rifing/coiling session time... Mild herx, add more dose/session time. Good medium herx, remain at the same dose/session time. Bad herx, lower dose or coiling session time.. And also keep in mind, if someone is coaching you or giving advice, ask yourself if I do this will it present with a tough herx? Remember, you are the one that will deal with the result of following someone elses advice.. For Bart we try to endure a bit more herx as it reproduces very quickly, but always keep in mind, our health, how we are going to feel after the session is the most important thing.. Feeling crappy for a few days is okay, but feeling very sick is not acceptable. And it is very important to note, no two people are alike.. If three Lymies are all treating for Bart, chances are good all will respond differently.. Tough herxes are not healthy... Our body becomes too toxic and this is not healthy... When we kill organisms, they become toxic in us and we have to allow our body to detox them out, until this happens, we are going to feel crappy or worse, sick... This also pertains to all treatment protocols... I've become sick from pushing salt/C too much too quickly and the same for MMS... Use a good scale up protocol and you are almost assured of avoiding bad herxes... You loose nothing by going slower as you keep a consistent killing schedule.. When you have a bad herx, you no longer a killing anything as detoxing becomes job #1 and we don't treat again until the herx has passed.. And please keep in mind, you are always detoxing, 24/7, so learning good detox protocols is very important and always be using them... <<<< Take care, Jim > > A friend of mine, who just bought the GB4000, has offered to let try it on Thursday. Guest guest
Jim, Thanks for all the explanations. I did let do the 5 minutes on frequency 21-27 on the GB4000 this morning. So far he is doing well, with no herxes. But, I am unfamiliar with how long after would one get(if they are going to get) a herx. > > > > A friend of mine, who just bought the GB4000, has offered to let try it on Thursday. Guest guest
Hi , Herxes often come sooner rather than later, but not for everyone... Some get them 2 - 3 days later, I think the longest has been 4 days... This is why it is best to wait 5 - 7 days before doing another session... Also, if he gets a herx, wait until it is over before doing another session... Last thing anyone wants is say a rough herx, then you do another sesion during the herx and this can really present with a pretty bad herx... I've tried rushing getting well faster, it just is not possible as we end up with more intense herxes and are not able to treat while we have them.. What is important is the intensity of the herx (if any). It is really a good indication of whether the next session should be shorter, longer or the same time..
