Guest guest
I'm a new member and have not been able to do my intro due to the storms that were here in SC but I have taken Trazadone and had not one single side effect. It helped me with sleeping and I loved it. :c) I have little ones and was still able to get up with them in the night if I had to. Sometimes I still woke up in the night but when I fell back to sleep it was 'good' sleep and I woke feeling very rested. I usually cut my pills in half but the doc said that was fine.. Hope that helps and I will try and get my intro done today or tomorrow..today is just not a good day and I'm really tired.. :c( April Hi, Could those who have taken trazadone, please tell me their experiences. The new doc. recommends this for me and I want to know the real deal! Decnie _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! Guest guest
Wow..that is high dose.. my doc started me on 50 and I cut them in half..LOL April Hi Decnie, My first time on trazadone scared me to death..!! Atarted out at 150 mg. at HS...WOW Glad I was in bed because when it kicked in I felt like I was going under anesthesia!! Really.. My last thought before I literaly passed out was I hope I keep breathing.....Never so happy to wake up in the morning than I was that one. After decreasing the dose...and being a little goggy in the morning I started waking up so alert and rested that I thought it was a God Send...then we had to slowly keep upping the dose to get the sleep cycle right and finally it quit working agter about 1 1/2 years... Stil have it but take doxipin now and if I really have trouble sleeping I add a trazadone. Hope this helps. Just me... K 1. Guest guest
Thanks for the quick reply! :-) Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Elavil almost twenty yrs ago. So that one is not an option for me. Guest guest
Has anyone else ever felt restless and then hungover on Trazadone? The doctor did say one or 2 pills at bedtime so maybe the 50mg wasn't enough to get me to sleep? I stopped taking traz because of exactly the same problem -- feeling hung over the next day, usually ALL day. It completely SUCKED -- and, at the time, I was working a full-time job, six part-time jobs, AND going to grad school...so feeling this way for me wasn't an option. Docs have since put me on it a couple of other times for other things; same problem, again and again. I refuse to take it anymore, period. ~Eri
