I don't know how many times I wished that I would be without pain like everyone on here. I do not know your problems but will tell you mine. I had back surgery in '99 and no let up ever since which three Drs. think that is what caused my neuropathy mostly in my feet. As of a month or a little more I asked my Dr. to try me on lyrica. It was such a new med in our area of the Midwest. He gave me samples and I felt relief in a few days. He gave me more samples of the 75's 3x's daily and I can now go and do my own grocery shopping. I come home with no pain in my feet. I still have the back pain and hope that when he increases it next week that eventually it will help that as there are nerves there also. We will see. Main message is that I am finally pain free in my feet and it was a horrible pain. I also use the duragesic patch and fiorinal with codeine but had been on them for several years so it is the lyrica.
