Which link are you clicking on? When I got your message, I gave each site a

click and they all went through properly. Try again and let me know. I am

so sorry for the inconvenience, but please please hang in there.

Also, if you scroll way down to the very bottom of the e-mail, each e-mail

refers again to each one of the links.

Please Give our new Website a Try!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL OF OUR MEMBERS

from Ellen

As you all are aware, we have been working on some sort of a *spreadsheet*

in order that we could enhance the Topica site............Bobby R. has

shared his expertise with us and has come up with a new great website.

D. is currently working on some other great features. We will still

have the same information and support and the same nice people as we had on

the Topica site.

Egroups is very similar to Topica, except it has many other wonderful

features. With the change over to egroups, we now have a *database* where

we can collect information in a simple viewable/printable format. You would

also have access to a member's Profile, if he chose to release it to other

members. Each message is numbered for easy referral. Your message can be

*previewed* and *edited* before sending it off. Each member can create a

Poll and take a vote. Messages can be sorted by medications, sex, age,

location, etc. We can post links such as the many Websites our members have

referred to on Topica Board to create a permanent and easy referral system.

We even have a Chat Room. This is only a few of the capabilities of this

new website. If you go to the Main Page, you will see all the features

listed on the left hand side of the page. Go through them.....click each

one. Please!

MOST IMPORTANT (NO E-MAIL): If you are getting the numerous e-mails, and I

agree, they are numerous - as on the Topica Board, you can change your

setting on egroups to *no e-mail*. In this way, similar to Topica, you may

view your messages on the website at your convenience. You can do this by

following the instructions below:

(1) Click on *My Groups* at the top left and choose from the drop-down list

of message delivery options, or,

(2) You can just send a blank e-mail addressed to

AFIBsupport-nomailegroups. or,

(3) If you are on the Main Page, click on the word *Modify* on the right

hand side under the word *Membership; then click the third circle down

which reads, " Don't send me email. I'll read the messages at the website. "

When we took the liberty of signing all our Topica members on to egroups,

we thought we were giving you all a head start - especially the members,

*such as me*, who are not computer savvy. If this was a poor decision on my

part, please accept my sincere apologies. We really thought we were helping

and we certainly do not want to lose you. Please please - don't leave us.

We need each and every one of you............we have made so many friends -

and this would be a sad occasion if we lost even one of you.

The new site is /group/AFIBsupport;

Mailing Address: AFIBsupportegroups

Please also note that there is another egroup list called just plain AFIB.

We are *AFIBsupport*. So if you have reached just plain *AFIB*, you are in

the wrong list.

Again, I am asking you all to give this site a chance. I know it will

benefit us all. Please do not *unsubscribe* - stay with us. We need you

all!
