Hi Nyzki,

in Australia private ins won’t cover a pre-existing condition – only if you’re healthy and maybe you get sick or injured. So, having had this since well b4 I knew of such things, I’ve depended on our govt health system, which we keep being told we’re lucky to have. I guess whatever we have we have to be grateful for, but that’s hard sometimes, when you’ve lived with something all your life w no research, no understanding, no advances. The reason we have new and more powerful abx etc is b/c of research for HIV and cancer treatment – not b/c especially suited to bronch.

I still come across websites that make bronch seem like an occasional bad cold, no serious matter really, and state that most people live ‘normal’ lives...

Do others feel they had ‘normal’ life capacity, were able to live to reasonable expectations? Maybe my circumstances were a little different....? (I figured by 22yo that having kids wasn’t a good idea, when I could barely look after myself much of the time. I tried to ensure a career to earn reasonable money but was not able to work long or consistently enough to achieve that – but I have a clean comfortable house, for now....)

Just curious,

joy
