Guest guest
Hi all, Question time. I'm considering the option of trigger point injections to eleviate my sacral pain. My surgeon is happy with this option as it goes nowhere near the epidural space. I have little information and even less experience from others and would appreciate if anyone here has tried these out and what sort of relief they produced. I'm tiring of all these meds and fancy the idea of an alternative! I'm not likely to see my PM doc until August so there's plenty of time for responses. Thanks Carey Hove UK
Guest guest
Carey, I don't know about trigger point injections, but my daughter has had medial branch blocks done and it has changed her life. The relief lasts about 3 months and has had no side effects at all. Hope this helps! JR
Guest guest
I agree...while I didn't have any luck with them, they aren't really all that painful. I think at the worst part, I was inspired to say " ouch " . That was about it. :)Afterward, it was a little sore, but not as bad as a paper cut. Overall: not as bad as stubbing your toe. You'll be fine. Hi > > Have any of you ever had trigger point injections? Are they very painful? One person has told me they are and I'm not sure I can endure any
