Guest guest
I knew I had just recently seen this and here is how. I was replying to a member on here and told here what a book I had on food additives said about PEG. It says in this little book, which I just love since it fits right in my purse and I have it handy while shopping. Anyways the book is " Food Additives: A Shopper's Guide to What's Safe & What's Not! " By Hoza Farlow, D.C. About Polyethylene Glycol it says it is " a skin and eye irritant; slightly toxic when ingested; potential mutagen; may be contaminated with carcinogen 1,4-dioxane; can break down into formaldehyde. " Scary huh? This book was why I initially didn't want to try it till the Dr. again suggested it. Next time I will go with my gut instinct. Also glad I figured out where I had seen this recently. It was driving me nuts.
