Guest guest
I figured out what the hell was going on - thanks for the link to aspergers.com. I checked out http://www.aspergers.com/aspdiff.htm to see what the difference was, according to them. The " gap " between verbal and performance IQ in my case is high verbal/low performance, rather than the other way around. Now my diagnosis of Asperger's makes more sense. For the record, the most accurate explanation of the CRITICAL difference between the two conditions is on this page: http://www.autistics.org/library/aspieautie.html Since I like to be unique, I'm going with " atypical hyperlexia " as my personal self-diagnosis, and " Asperger's Syndrome " as my official signed-on-company-letterhead diagnosis. ____________________ " I'm easily confused.
