Guest guest
Although I have only been struggling with lyme for over a year, it is apparant to me that the ABX do not cure only suppress. I did 6 months of VERY tough IV drugs at high doses...rocephin, zith and flagyl. I became symptom free quickly only to relapse just as quick. Bicillin shots with more flagyl only to relapse again and again. Now I have been given the option of IV vanco. My feelings are why? Only to relapse again after that...so I have turned to coiling. Why dont more folks try this route? Is it because it is unproven? Is it a more difficult route to go since one is not getting any relief by encystment? Too many folks on lymenet doing years of ABX without getting better. Why dont more folks try this?
Guest guest
My answer to the question of why don't more folks turn to coil --- when you find out you have Lyme, there is a big community directing you to LLMDs. Most of the quality websites about chronic Lyme are focused on abx. When you don't know much about Lyme, this is most of the info you have. Rife is not as publicized, so people don't get into it unless they have a preference for non-pharma treatments, they hear about it working well for someone else, or they start to look for alternatives since abx are not working well for them. I did normal abx for two years and sort of scoffed at Rife users during that time ... until it became apparent that I was going to relapse every time I merely decreased my abx dosage or stopped one of several that I was on. Then I was glad that this " disreputable " Rife treatment was there to save my ass ;-) - Although I have only been struggling with lyme for over a year, it is apparant to me that the ABX do not cure only suppress. Guest guest
It is also not an FDA approved device, so doctors cannot recommend rife machines without fear of big brother. My MD who will remain unnamed recommended that I read Rosner's book called Lyme and Rife machines. Without reading that book, I would never have heard of rife machines. I bought one decided not to do abx and I have now eradicated Lyme and am close to the end of Mycoplasma. > > > > > > > Although I have only been struggling with lyme for over a year, it is > > apparant to me that the ABX do not cure only suppress.
