I haven't been able to do housework for two years. The only thing I can do

occasionally is a load of clothes or the dishes if I'm having a good day. I

have constant pain that never goes away. If I try and do any kind of

activity it puts me in the bed for a week. Of course, I have back and neck

problems in addition to the fibro, so that may be why this is the case with

me.

Kristy,

I'd have to say that the more I do, the more I seem to flare up. So

I guess it would come to follow that if I do a lot of housework I

seem to hurt more and for longer times. If I don't do too much, I

usually can keep the worst of the pain at bay.

Maybe we should all go on strike and not do anything - LOL

<I do think though that my vacumn

cleaner may add to the pain in my lower back, Im not sure yet, but its

a new pain.>

The worst thing to do for your back in vacuum, sweep or mop. Since I had my

back injury, my neurosurgeon will not let me do any of the above or lift

over 5lbs.
