What are other acute care facilities using for clear liquid diets when

patient is prepping for a colonoscopy? We currently do not

distinguish the reason for a clear liquid diet; therefore all patients

get the same clear liquid diet (such as clear broth, plain jello,

coffee, tea, strained juices)regardless of the reasoning. We give red

and orange jello on this diet. A doctor questioned the color of jello

being served when used for colonoscopy prep. Curious to know what

others are doing.
