The reason your pain may be coming through now is that your body has become immune to it. I had been on Celebrex for the last 2 years and my pain level kept shooting up and up. I went to an orthopedic surgeon about my back and he said that your medicines such as celebrex, piroxicam, or any of these need to be changed frequently because your body becomes immune to them. Well needless to say I didn't believe him so we have a Dr. that comes in and work and I asked her and she said yes I recommend at least a change every 6 months, now the ortho said every 3 to 6 months a rotation basis.
