Guest guest
Ouch , I wish I had an answer for you. I've suffered on and off with heel spurs, so I avoid barefoot at all costs. I did it to myself when I used to work in the computer room on the midnight shift. I'd be barefoot all shift long. Miles of walking on raised floors made of steel with air-conditioning coming up through the holes in the floor did me in. Stupid me. Now if I go barefoot for more than an hour, I can feel it starting up again. Shoes with custom orthotics are with me fo life now. I have no idea how to get rid or callus's. If you find out... let me know too. hugs, Norah Re: Good Morning Everyone-Lynette Sore feet Yep, I've gone thru so many different shoes and shoe inserts from podiatrists I think I could open a store myself....lol No I haven't found the perfect shoes....those people on TV that go " OOOOH...AHHHH " ..I'd like to kick them but it would hurt too much.....I have calus's at least 1/2 inch thick on my heels from the way I walk from my back pain...once in GASP....Wal Mart....one of the salespersons came up to me with a cane she'd found and asked if it was mine......I don't know why she thought it was mine...maybe from the white clenched knuckles onthe cart as I tried to finagle past boxes of supplies that had blocked the aisle I needed to go down.....I almost took the cane to use to clear the aisle....Barefoot is my prefered mode of ambulation...it's easier if my calus's break open and bleed to wash my feet than my shoes...Have had a few occassions where the dried blood looked like dirt....no feeling in the right foot from nerve damage in my back. Anyone have a 'easy' way to ge4t rid of calus's?? My 50 pounds I gained this year has made my legs/feet grow beyond my reach....
