Guest guest
I was dx in dec with lyme. I had the spine/neck pain (inflammation) and then a complete cognition meltdown. Cognition has finally returned but last two weeks I have noticed pain in neck/spine (c5/c6) is back. I noticed breathing difficullty, swallowing issues and a terrible rash on both bottom legs that is itchy, also itchy and puffy on different parts of the body. My first symptom three years ago was this rash on my calves, but I thought then it was razor rash. But it has reappeared now so it must have been lyme related. The breathing feels like sometimes I have to force it. Scary! Also, my left arm muscles just all of of a sudden started getting weak along with all of these other symptoms. Any thoughts what to do? I do not have a rife as I can't afford one, with five kids can't afford much . I am using herbs and antibiotic herbs that I believe gave me my cognition back, along with a few basic supplements. Any suggestions would help. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana,That's excellent news that you have a diagnosis for you health problems - ie. Lyme. A neurologist would probably want to dx you with a neurological condition, but you have done one better than that and have the cause for your illness - that's a BIG plus. : )I have exactly the same symptoms, but they are far more advanced than yours, as I didn't get my Lyme dx until very late. But there are now two different aspects that you will need to address to turn your health around and get on to the road of recovery. They are to start treating the Lyme disease by establishing which path of treatment you would like to take, and then stick to it. The second thing you will need to do is manage your symptoms, which I perceive is the main catalyst behind your post. You said that you are taking herbs. Are they specific herbal formulas for Lyme such as Cowdens or Byron White's? Are you seeing an LLMD? As far as Rife machines, from most reports a Doug Coil type is the most effective, but there are much cheaper machines such as an EMEM that will be beneficial for you for a while if you can afford one of them. If cost is a real inhibiting factor, then you may want to consider looking into the Salt & C treatment protocol for Lyme. See http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/lymestrategies/You didn't say how severe your breathing and swallowing issues are. Because I was originally diagnosed with a neurological condition, those issues were monitored by doctors from the beginning and advice and/or intervention was/is forthcoming as needed. I am in Australia, so I am not familiar with what is available to you where you are, but maybe you too will need some similar support, depending upon the severity of your symptoms. Feel free to email me directly (if you prefer) with any detailed specific symptoms that I may be able to share my experiences and what was done to help. Be encouraged,-nSubject: Breathing/Swallowing Problems!!!To: Lyme_and_Rife Received: Monday, 11 April, 2011, 1:53 AM I was dx in dec with lyme.
