In one of my jobs as a hospital dietitian, I saw truck

drivers as outpatients. I learned that many who are

long distance drivers have mini refrigerators and

microwaves. Ask questions about how they eat, where

they eat, and what they eat. I am not sure it is

practical to have a one size fits all list. Talk to

the patient and find out what he/she likes, is willing

to try/eat, and what he/she has available to him/her

in the truck. Then, make a list as a result of the

open-ended questions and answers provided.

Hope this helps!
