Guest guest
Now wait a minute here. Something doesn't compute. Too few trees, too many cars, too much pollution, asthma and allergies, high humidity, high electric bills, but you LIKE IT?????????? Hmmmmm..... has your brain been damaged by the humidity? Or did the high electric bill cause your brain to short-circuit????? Why in the world do you like it? It is charming, but what else does it have? The only reason we tolerated Texas was 1. we had a pool 2. was the lead in the local musicals and that was tons of fun 3. We loved our church. But when we found out we were going back north we were ecstatic. I am a midwesterner as far as work ethic and morals. Dallas was too rich and the kids were way overprivileged and the women only cared about jewels and cars. Most of our friends were transplanted Yankees. was in a meeting one time and the men there told him that " Yankees are like hemorrhoids. When they come down and go right back up they're okay. But when they come down and stay down they are a pain in the ass. " They actually told this at a business meeting and thought it was funny. made some remark about the Yankees who stayed down were the people who brought the hi-tech industry with them and kept them all from going bankrupt when the oil business crashed. I don't think they liked that too much. LOL Love, Cam Re: Camilla - OT San Camilla, Texas is.... hot. I always wanted to live in Texas -- cause I liked cowboys -LOL. San is huge... and growing. Too few trees. Too many cars. And WAY too much pollution.... 90% of the population is on asthma or allergy meds (8 people live in my house - me, hubby, 5 kids, my dad - and all of us on allergy meds and 4 with asthma). We are kind of in a valley and get the stuff from around us and even Mexico. It's so humid... only a couple of months a year that you can keep your windows open and be comfortable. My electric bill is $249 for the last month because it is so hot and humid. But... otherwise.... I think I like it. - LOL. a > I loved San A. when I lived in Texas. Dallas was so flat and treeless. We went to S.A. and thought it was wonderfully charming. Also liked Austin when we went to a wedding there. How do you like living in Texas???? Love, Cam 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone.
