Guest guest
I wanted to participate in this poll but there isn't a response that fits. Since my son does have Keratosis Pilaris but due to just now at 8 yrs old realizing how Miralax affects my son which was causing him to develop a tic again. I do not know if the Keratosis Pilaris is PEG related. It is possible it was caused by it but I cannot be sure. > > > Enter your vote today! Guest guest
Clarification: I was the one who originally mentioned Keratosis Pilaris in a previous email). Did not mean to confuse anyone on the board with regard to Miralax causing KP. My understanding is that it is evidently inherited. My son never started Miralax as we joined the group as soon as the doc prescribed it and we wanted to learn more (and decided never to use it, for sure!)Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerrySender: miralax Date: Sat, 04 Jun 2011 18:29:32 -0000To: <miralax >ReplyTo: miralax Subject: Re: New poll for miralax I wanted to participate in this poll but there isn't a response that fits. Guest guest
One needs to study WHAT these people took while they were pregnant, i.e., antibiotics, an Rh immune globulin injection, prenatal vitamins? etc. If nothing was taken, then one could proceed to look at hormones, environmental issues, etc.To: miralax Sent: Sat, June 4, 2011 9:09:05 PMSubject: Re: Re: New poll for miralax I never had it before I was pregnant. Then had it on my arms and it went away after the birth. I feel, in my case, hormones either brought it on or activated a dormant case of it in my body. My son was then born with it (and newborns have a ton of hormones).Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Sender: miralax Date: Sat, 4 Jun 2011 17:26:45 -0700 (PDT)To: <miralax >ReplyTo: miralax Subject: Re: Re: New poll for miralax I know many people who've had this condition and never took PEG, however, there seems to be a controversy over it being genetic and the unknown cause. As with excema, they suspect chemicals. People just didn't have these conditions when we grew up? People in my neighborhood didn't treat their lawns either? Now, Big Pharma has taken it a step further and prescribe children liquid plastic made from ethylene glycol to defecate their stool.................it's no wonder our children have skin conditions and asthma..........To: miralax Sent: Sat, June 4, 2011 7:09:41 PMSubject: Re: Re: New poll for miralax yes, but you need to see what the results are before you use the word "caused"................I don't know enough about the condition to say it caused it, so I want to first, find out how many developed it..................just want to know how many children developed this condition that took PEG. Many children that took PEG developed excema out of the 1400 people's responses on this group since we started it in 2001To: miralax Sent: Sat, June 4, 2011 5:37:46 PMSubject: Re: New poll for miralax Wouldn't that be basically saying the same thing? Since even if it didn't cause it. It contributed to them developing it. > > > > > > Enter your vote today!
