Guest guest
How about going to a high-profile medical doctor like Dr. Sanjay Gupta or Dr. Oz or even trying to bring this to the attention of The Oprah Show? How about trying to get in touch with McCarthy who has an autistic son herself, or Holly Peet, who also has an autistic son, seeing if they will lend this cause their celebrity power? We are nobodies and may need celebrity power to generate the necessary attention to this issue. Note: I do not want this taken out off the market as it apparently benefits children like Jack's son without any apparent side-effects, as of yet; but I certainly want it taken off the list of OTC medications, more stringent warnings placed on it, educating the pediatricians and other doctors to NOT USE it as the first line of treatment, especially for children, especially before doing any testing for any food allergies and other possible causes, etc., and to use it ONLY as directed (How difficult is that? I mean, we wouldn't take Tylenol, 2 tablets a day, everyday, indefinitely unless we want to head straight for liver failure!! The bottle says not to use it for longer than 10 days. How is Miralax any different!?) To: miralax Sent: Tue, July 27, 2010 8:10:55 AMSubject: Re: Re: PEG / Autistic behaviors this is so huge, we need an army. What do you suggest we do? She says > this needs a thurough investigation. I invited her on the board.>
