I sent this email to Ellen Degeneres...if anyone watchs her shows in the afternoon...Could you please let me know what if anything she might say or do in reaction to this email...Not sure what she will say or do if anything...My only hope is that she will merely tell the people about it and get the signatures flowing....OR something!!! Below is what I wrote it might be a bit much..but, she claims that she READS each and every one!!!! So we shall see won't we??? At the very least I am expect an email back!!

Dear Ellen,

I am writing to you about my cause. I saw that you support some causes that we have in common, one being cancer as my mother died of cancer when I was 16. Now I am 33 and fighting my own disease and I have a cause that I am fight along with it. I need some support and extra help. I have Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis effect 100's of Millions of people every day, and these same people RELY on one of 4 injectable therapies to allow them to live normal lifestyle or as normal as possible. Multiple Sclerosis effects your entire nervous system, our muscles, and immune system. In short, basically our bodies attacks itself for no apparent reason. This is why we have no cure as of yet. The name of my cause is "And Coverage For All" I have a Petition that I started and it is online located at:

Ellen, I desperately need signature on this petition that WILL BE going to Congress. to let them about my cause. To let them know that the MS community is tired of being slapped around. Here is the bottom of it all. Basically, Medicare does not cover all 4 injectable drugs for those of us with MS. They only cover ONE. Legislation NEEDS to be changed and that is my goal..to change this law and to get all 4 injectable therapies covered.

Ellen, Currently there have been people (if you read the comments on the petition) who have DIED from MS. I want you to know that this is a very RARE thing to happen, but it does. But that the reason this is happening is because these people can't pay for their medication is some cases and Medicare is (in my humble opinion) partly to blame. I am lucky so far, I don't need Medicare..But my fight it to help others and to make sure that my medication is there when my insurance is NO Longer there for me. The injections cost from $10,000 - $18,000 a year without insurance. I am personally on the most expensive one. Every other day I give myself a shot, and every other day, I am injecting $100 into my system. Its like Liquid Gold. We don't walk around with that kind of money in our pockets and yet somehow they expect us to??? How is it, We can send $87bill or better to IRAQ but we can't take care of our OWN people???

Now, there is a Senate Version of the BILL S.1 that the Senate just passed and now congress has to debate all the issues. While the media is only consentrating on the seniors with in this BILL, MS is in this BILL and this is why I am fighting harder and harder each day, to get signature and to make sure that I am up do date on what is going one.

This is also why I ask for you help in getting as many signatures on this petition as possible. EVEN YOURS, Even your signature would be great support Ellen. I see your shows when I am off work sick and you are a warm, companionate person and I can see that in you. You make me laugh at my lowest of times, when I am in great pain, I can count on you to brighten my day...I only pray now that I can count on you to help in some way to support my cause. When I send this petition to Congress, I want them to see a SERIOUS petition and not some Joke that some nut case put together.
