Guest guest
Oh, I do that too. I really hate it, but geez, how do you get into a conversation if you don't interject a comment? Do people really expect me to just stand there with them while they're carrying on a conversation? They even look at me while they're talking, isn't that an invitation to join in? If I don't say anything, people think I'm a snob or unfriendly. I can't win for losing. Screw 'em, I'm not talking! Louis P.S. I have a brand new nephew named Kayden! In my house, " normal " is only a setting on the dryer. From: Kaiden Fox You'll have to find the British version of the term, but I've been called a " buttinsky. " I'm not sure if that's the proper spelling, and if it's a general American term of something local to my area. I view conversation much like an IRC channel. If two people are talking, and I know both people, I'm quite likely to " butt in " to the conversation. In fact, tonight at work, I addressed my co-worker by commenting on a comment she had made about how she doesn't like to be mean with my rather flippant, " It takes a while to learn to enjoy it... it's an acquired taste. " Her rebuttal was that this " isn't your conversation. " ____________________ " I'm easily confused. It's part of my boyish charm.
