Interesting its the same email word for word. As an FYI-the email mentions a

senator, who was a senator in ohio years ago and recently passed away. I

figured it was a hoax after I saw his name.

On a much less scientific scale (Snopes? Scientific?!), I know aspartame is

related to my migraines. One of my friends with RA steers clear of it, too. She

feels terrible after drinking diet drinks.

I have heard of many stories like this, I gave up sweetners too. I

like the difference in the way I feel.

Just wondering where snopes gets their funding from? Anyone know?

(I looked on the site, & Googled it, & didn't find any info, but I

didn't dig too far) Everyone refers to snopes like a trusted

reference, but who knows who funds it? ... & who knows if additional

funding doesn't come from any big business that doesn't want a bad

reputation. Also who writes it? Aren't these just some of the

questions that we would ask of other references, & studies?

On the same note I heard a rumor that ADA is accepting funding from

the Coke company, Does anyone know if that is true? This seems like

a conflict of interest to me.
