Guest guest
Reading Kathy's posts on cancer in Africa and thinking about all the confusion about treatments and hope's and hopelessness, that all people everywhere would receive the same competent, quality care. In the U.S. we seem to be a bit on the liberal side of medicine while the U.K seems to be on the Conservative side. Elsewhere who knows? 0% to 50% if their lucky. The haves get the very best treatment and the have nit's get the minimum if their lucky. I'm sitting here after getting in injection in prep for a 4:00pm bone scan. This is the third scan in a year and was brought about by an abnormal CT scan (the second in a year) which was just preceded by a complete MRI w/wo contrast two monthws ago. Im not a rich person for the USA population, just average with good insurance. If I wanted another test tomorrow i could have it, no problems. I really dont want the scan because my insides are telling me whats wrong. In fact the visits and talks with the URO and the Onca, predictions diagonosis score Sam-4 the Doc's-0. Doctors CYA and sometimes just cant accept that a patient may know more about how they feel and how much pain than they do. Its a real shame that some have to wait months to get the care if they get any at all. Have a nice Day! __________________________________________ Yahoo! DSL – Something to write home about.
