Guest guest
Hi, You also want to ask the doctor IF they have experience treating Fibromyalgia or whatever other symptoms/conditions you have. This is so incredibly important. So many doctors out there are pain doctors but don't know enough about this horrible disease to know how to correctly treat it and I found this with 5 of the doctors that I went through in 2 years. Also, if you're concerned about it, which we should be, ask if they treat with narcotic pain killers - because you don't want to get in with a doctor to find out that they won't prescribe you drugs stronger than Ultram or SOMA or the NSAIDS. You can ask this right over the phone. There is a good site somewhere that talks about interviewing your doctors. You can do this right over the phone; just ask for the physician to give you a call back and go over your checklist with them. Try Fibrohugs for a list. Either they have it or another Fibro site does. Good luck!! Whitney Eat, sleep, dream and be the music - trance....
