Guest guest
My son started having issues with constipation around 6 months of age. He is now nearly 4 years old. We were put on miralax and similar drugs and they never really helped. He simply had leakage around the stool but never a regular easy passing stool. We spend so much time in the bathroom each night with him trying to go and he is only able to go maybe once a week. We have been to a naturopath and homeopath and have done many remedies. He is on a regular probiotic and digestive enzyme. He also takes natural calm twice a day. We were gluten free for four months with no improvement. He had the blood work done for celiac. He had IgG and IgA allergy testing done with nothing turning up as a severe allergy. We have had a comprehensive stool analysis done. His good bacteria is low and his bad is high. He doesn't digest fatty acids well. We have done chiropractic care. Nothing is helping. We can't leave the house because when we do we are constantly searching/stopping to use a bathroom. I just don't know what else to try. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
