Guest guest
I've been told that you should start at 15 seconds, on the abdomen, as this one is a tough bastard, in the way that's challenging to combat, and that it has quite a rapid growth rate. Right now, I'm addressing this one for 3-4 minutes on my abdomen, and about 1-2 minutes on my chest/simultaneously on the center of my larynx, and finally about 2-3 min., on each side of my neck, while the coil also touches my chin. Detoxing is very crucical for this one. I am still working on that part of the equation! Good luck and be well! > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > breathing, while eating food. > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > situation. Guest guest
I have heard that you should coil for Bart everyday, and perhaps even twice a day. > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > breathing, while eating food. > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > situation. Guest guest
Why in those specific areas? And what happens if you do it for longer? Guest guest
S told me to start with every other day for bart. When the herxes stay the same with no change or improvement, then move to once a day. When the herxes plateau again, move to twice a day. However, I have found that I am doing well with twice a day. The problem is that for work I have trips away from home and the coil. I've just bought houtuynia to try for those times. Guest guest
I'm afraid to coil for hours at a time, as for the last couple of days, I have seen significant changes in my brain chemistry. Forgetfulness, brainfog, misspelling words, reading comprehension. I feel that it depends on the individual's bacteria load, and of course detoxing properly. > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > situation. Guest guest
The abdomen is where the bulk of the immune system lies, and also that is where I'm told all the lyme/co-infection bacteria likes to hang out. The guy who built my coil machine has guided me to do so, in terms of the coiling approach. I coil around my throat, because of swallowing difficulties. > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > situation. Guest guest
Hi Aandraya, I don't know how anyone could possibly coil for hours at a time--the coil gets very hot in a much shorter period of time than that. Guest guest
Only coil for Bart daily or twice daily if you can stand the herxes... These can be very intense and newbies should start with every other day, if they can handle those herxes then try daily... We never know when we start rifing/coiling for a specific disease how severe of an infection we have.. Once you know your herxes are mild, then it is time to increase the session times.. Take care, Jim > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > situation. Guest guest
It is called houtuynia Cordata, not sure of the spelling. It is a Dr. Zhang herb that Dr. Schaller wrote about in his book. He said that this herb does a good job of killing Bartonella in the blood, but will not get it anywhere else in the body. Some people use this herb in conjunction with rifing. > > > > > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > > > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > > > situation. Guest guest
That makes sense, same as backing off on antimicrobials when herxing is to severe. Guest guest
The brain issues you are experiencing are most likely herxing symptoms... These are caused killing pathogens and the die-off is toxic.. Until these are detoxed out you may continue to experience these symptoms... Pace, not race... Guest guest
Jim, I have been very unsuccessful in detoxing. I have tried: Pinella, Burbur, Activated Charcoal, Welchol and even coffee enemas. Today at Whole Foods I picked up: Milk Thistle, Gingko Biloba, Vitamin C Powder and want to look into CoEnzyme, Mangosteen, Lithium Orotate, and Magnesium (After reading " The Top 10 Lyme Disease Treatments " , from B. Rosner. What do you think? > > > > > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > > > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > > > situation. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. Doesn't it like to hang out in the brain too? Guest guest
Thanks, Peggy. I've read that some put the coil a foot away from the body, maybe that's how they do it for so long. So would you say most coil for only a few minutes at a time? Do you move it to different areas of the body during a coiling session?Aandraya Hi Aandraya, I don't know how anyone could possibly coil for hours at a time--the coil gets very hot in a much shorter period of time than that. Guest guest
As I am getting further along into the rifing, I'm learning that slowing down is CRUCIAL! Herxes are horrendous if you go too fast. As of late, I have had to humble myself. Slow and steady is more the way to go, for coiling, as this tool is a very powerful one. Coiling and detoxing need to compliment each other, not pull like a tug-of-war, leading to imbalance. I need to slow down, and coil full lyme scans twice a month, Bart (everyother day), same with Babesia. We need to build up to longer, coiling sessions. Bartonella could very well be in your Central Nervous System, but you will need to lead into that I'm told; I'm finding out the hard way, what happens when you do not detox enough. The abdomen is where the bulk of our immune system is, and Bartonella seems to go after the digestive area, strongly, so the foundation of coiling begins in the abdomen, and moves to the rest of the body. I am no doctor, and am only sharing with you what I'm doing/going to be doing. I'm a newbie to coiling as well, and am looking forward to being better organized with the therapy, and linking it with my detoxing, in a harmonious fashion. ALL THE BEST to you !!!! > > > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short > sessions, > > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > > situation. Guest guest
Hi - I too have a difficult time with detox. I have read that you need support for the liver in order to successfully detox. Milk Thistle is good for the Stage 1 of the liver function, but Stage 2 is the liver function that pushes the toxins out. I have read that Garlic and Glutathione are good for supporting the Stage 2 function of the liver. Hope this helps, Meo > > > > > > > > > > > > Every time I coil for this, and mind you I do very short sessions, > > > > > it makes my throat so tight it feels like I'm having difficulty > > > > > breathing, while eating food. > > > > > > > > > > > > I have yet to hear of another person experiencing the same > > > > > situation. Guest guest
Hi Aandraya, Putting the coil a foot away from the body doesn't keep it from heating up. It's not just about keeping a hot coil from touching your body--it's also important for the maintenance and longevity of the coil that you not allow it to overheat and stay hot for too long. When you ask if most coil for only a few minutes at a time, I'm sure it varies from person to person depending on their particular infections, how much they herx, and how well they're detoxing. I've used it anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour at a time. Yes I do move the coil to different areas of the body during a coiling session. We have a list of the areas of the body to use in coiling, and the recommended times. It's been posted many times. If you search old posts you should find it easily, or Jim may have a document containing this info. Guest guest
I usually coil full body over a couple hours, allowing the coil to cool down. Sometimes I break it into two sessions a day. I've heared others break Lyme coiling into days. If I had the $ I'd get a second coild so I don't have to wait the long cool down periods. Guest guest
We are a family of three, all using a doug coil. When my oldest daughter comes home this summer there will be four of us. The coil lasts about 30 minutes before getting too hot. We get around this by using two coils and rotating them. When the first gets too hot we put it in the freezer. Even then it still works best if we coil at different times. We have taken this one step further by leaving a coil in the freezer and starting out with a frozen coil. > > > > And what happens if you do it for longer?
