My name is Donna. I am 43 yrs old, married, and was diagnosed with

fibro March 2003. I live in Meridian, MS and have a son who is 27 and

married 7 yrs and a daughter at home who will be 13 in Sept.

I have a question. I have been experiencing pain in my hip joint, my

right knee and believe it or not, my right thumb joint. Was wondering

if anyone has had anything like this and if it could be my fibro or

something else. Although it has been a yr since my diagnosis, I still

wonder about symptoms at times. Please let me know, so I know if

there is anything I might be able to do or if I need to see a doc

about it. Thanks!!

Donna

-Donna, it might be wise to go see a doctor about esp. the hip pain.

I started having hip paqin a year after my FMS dx. Finally they

decided that I had some degenerative joint disease. I have had the

weird travelling joint pain at times. Sometimes my hands hurt so

much. Sometimes it's my wrists. I know I have some injuries to my

joints. I was glad I had the hip thing checked out, I did't see how

that could have been Fibro pain, as bad as it was. Now the NPN is

keeping an eye on the hip problem. I'm taking glucosamine and MSM.

Sometimes I get stuck on a position because of the hip. I have been

stuck upstairs on the edge of my bed. Or just frozen in one position.

Another reason I use a cane.
