I've been approached by HealthSouth for some Project...does somebody has any

information about that Company ? Reputation, Financial Stability ?

Projections ? etc. If you had a chance, would you work for that Company ?

And what would be a reasonable Salary for a Site Coordinator with 15 years

of experience ?

At this stage in my life I am searching for Stability (no joke...in this

unstable environment )

What's the immediate change that you all see with the $1500 cap moratorium ?

Last time I looked, Healthsouth was a publicly traded company doing in excess

of $5 billion a year in revenues. Their stock symbol is HRC and like most

healthcare company, they are having difficulty during difficult times. They

are headquartered in Birmingham, AL and the few company officials that I've

met seemed nice enough. However, I have crossed paths with several

clinicians that have worked with Healthsouth in the past and their comments

followed along the lines of another that was already made on this list.

Any comments I have had about HealthSouth from patients and clinician alike

(who have worked there) have been derogatory. Again, " production " line,

factory, assembly work all were noted. People have fought their insurance

companies and in cases, actually paid out-of-pocket to come to our clinic

after being sent to HealthSouth by their ins co. (Either pts we had seen in

the past, had seen their families/friends or due to word of mouth.) This is

in NJ.
