Hey!

I hate driving in traffic, I thought most autistics had trouble with

driving. My reaction time is a little slower than normal and my

depth perception is bad.

Are you really good at it, or is it something you enjoy? I am really

surprised that an autistic would be driving for a living. How did

you get started doing it?

I do have a friend who is autistic and used to be a cabdriver. She

said it required very little in the way of social skills and gave a

lot of leeway for eccentricity.

Hi ,

Thanks for sharing that, it's good to get a wider view of what

autistics can do well.

I don't know if she did it well or not, as I know that these days

she's a pretty terrible driver. I do recall her describing holding a

funeral service for a " dead " taxicab, though. <grin>
