Since I am a musician I find myself covering my ears when that off key truck plays " This Old Man " 4, 385 times. Why don't we launch a campaign to get rid of all noisey, off key musical happenings. Of course, 99 percent of rock music would be deleted. OOOOPPPPPPSSSSS...my prejudice is showing!!!! Better shoot me now! Love, Cam Re: to Jana I've read that Fibromyalgia is the " sensitive everything disease. " It's almost like having Autism, and being so sensitive to noise. cent lights drive me nuts with the buzzing. The phone line has a buzzing noise to it. I hate noise so much I have the phone ringer shut off, and the ans. machine turned down. And then there is that ice cream peddler truck that plays the worst tunes over and over. I really hate that thing, and I've seen it around here. Tis the season, and I ain't jolly. ARRGH. I don't know about the noise ordinace, since city council voted on having this nusience here. When I used to live in NJ and whenever I was at the pool, the goody humor truck would come by and I asked the lady, how do they know the truck is there, the lady goes it plays music, and then I gave her this blank look on my face, like what? What music? She goes you don't hear it, I said nope. I told her I can only hear at a 100 decibals. I really don't know what kind of music they play. When I have my aids on, I could hear it slightly.
