Guest guest
Kathy, I believe, has mentioned that her Headaches that she gets from Chiari are like Spinal Headaches, that you get from a Leak......etc. However, to my knowledge, that is not the typical Chiari Headache. To my knowledge, and what I experience, are typical Chiari Headaches that are pulsating pressure at the base of the Skull, back of the Neck. Every once in awhile, I still do get a Spinal Headache, even though it has been over 9 Years since my last Detethering, it's weird. Who knows, maybe they are from Chiari, or maybe they are from Tethering itself. Me Nebraska, USA mymocha@... What kind of headaches do you get from the chiari? Guest guest
The spinal fluid leaks caused a head pain that is exactly the same as the pain I get from the Chiari. It starts in my neck and moves to the base of my skull and at times will pulsate in my head, but not your typical head pounding that you get from a regular headache. It's very hard to describe unless you've experienced it. Although Brande, and not to diminish at all what you are saying, but the pain I experience is almost exactly the same that I've heard described from others with Chiari. As a matter of fact, I've been getting these pains for years and years and always thought everyone got them. Then when I was diagnosed with Chiari and I described the pain I get, the nsg said that's the exact pain that most people get from Chiari. Very enlightening to learn that a pain you've had for years and years isn't what everyone else in the free world gets ;-) Kathy Re: Chiari Headaches! > Kathy, I believe, has mentioned that her Headaches > that she gets from Chiari are like Spinal Headaches, > that you get from a Leak......etc. However, to my > knowledge, that is not the typical Chiari Headache. > To my knowledge, and what I experience, are typical > Chiari Headaches that are pulsating pressure at the > base of the Skull, back of the Neck. > > Every once in awhile, I still do get a Spinal Headache, > even though it has been over 9 Years since my > last Detethering, it's weird.
