Guest guest
Hi Lena, I did the Master Cleanse a few years back for 8 days. I did my thyroid meds, but stopped everything else. I didn't figure I needed my digestive support since I wasn't eating. I think the main issue with continuing on supps is that the liver must detox all of this stuff too, so the less strain you can place on the liver while in a state of detox is a good idea. However, if you feel that you must continue any protocols that keep the critters at bay, then I wouldn't stop them. I am currently doing the HCG diet. I put on a lot of weight when I was diagnosed with lyme. It was because my thyroid was almost non functioning. When I finally got my thyroid back up and running the weight remained. I had a bit of a rough go the first week or two on the diet, because I am still treating Mycoplasma and it seems every time I would rife or Photon Mycoplasma, my body would hang on to water and I would actually gain a little weight. Now that I know that, I have relaxed about not losing weight everyday and have celebrated the 12 lbs that I have lost. I am really agressively detoxing during this diet as I know how toxic white fat can be. I feel like I am starting to get my life back and it is such a great feeling! The problem is I am not sure what getting my life back really is, I have been a Lymie for 10 years and most of my friends have moved on. It is like moving to a new city and starting over when being released from the bonds of Lyme. > > > Hi Jim et al, > > So sorry to hear about the virus. Guest guest
OT: inflammation Message List Reply | Delete Message #21057 of 21142 < Prev | Next > Hi Lena, Thanks for mentioning about the Earthing devices again... Last time you talked about this I put it in my " must read " folder and never read it... I did spend about 4 hours researching it today and I did find some very impressive info about it... I also found enough info poo-pooing it, but this typically comes from those who don't understand what something is and thus responds negatively as they know any better... This link clearly says that grounding the body (Earthing) is very healthy, it is a study listed on Pub Med... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15650465?dopt=Abstract So now my only decision is buying the items worn daily or getting a Earthing sheet to sleep on.. Most of this virus is now gone, I am still very tired and I have a lot of joint issues still present, but all of the big symptoms have ended... I thought this virus was probably the flu, but those with the flu have it for about a week, this virus last 4 weeks or longer. I finally got rid of it just a few days before 3 weeks.. It was the low dose MMS that helped, I tried higher doses and it was actually killing too many pathogens, so I dropped down to 1 drop per hour and got up to 2 drops per hour... That is not much, but all my body could tolerate.. My thinking on the Master Cleanse or any protocol, is I try to follow the basics of the protocol until I know I can do other things with it... I presume the author of this protocol had his/her reasons for keeping other things away.. Perhaps it was found that other supps or protocols could somehow affect this cleanse which would seem to make sense.. Take care, Jim Re: Re:OT: inflammation, The Master Cleanse with Lyme protocols Hi Jim et al, So sorry to hear about the virus. As if you didn't have enough to deal with! You might want to add grounding to reduce inflammation. The earth's negative charge really seems to reduce the problems caused by free radicals and reduces inflammation. I've noticed a major difference in morning inflammation since grounding during the night. I have a question for you on another tack. I'd often done the lemonade-maple-cayenne fast in past years, before I was dxed with Lyme. I usually did it for three days; once in the Spring and once in the Fall. A couple times, I went to 10 days. Always felt better for having done it. It was sort of like rebooting, a restart for the system. In the last 4 years, I haven't done it because I was Rifing, doing S & C, detoxing in other ways and toiling through a heavy pathogen load. I listened to my body, and it just didn't feel right. This full moon, however, something was different, and I felt it was time. I muscle-tested, dowsed, and began Sat. as the moon began to wane. So far, I feel very good and quite energetic. Sleeping well, bowels moving well, mind is clear, no headaches, (but tongue gets pretty coated), my body is enjoying the rest. I'm continuing daily low-volume CEs. The tricky bit is that I also checked by muscle-testing and dowsing my S & C, TCM, other supps, and Rifing, and they weren't contraindicated. I know that the originator of the Master Cleanse diet discouraged supps, and I'm wondering what you, or other members of this group think. We Lymies aren't necessarily like other people, and listening to my body has usually served me pretty well, but at day 5, I'm planning ahead. I'd like to test a few foods at the end of the fast, especially things I tend to crave, being, sometimes, an indication of allergy) I probably should have asked these questions before starting, but felt like my intuition was guiding me. Now, honestly, at the half-way mark, perhaps I'm getting tired of (bored with) the fast, looking for a reason to stop even though every part of my body feels good except my appetite. Or, I want to optimize what I've already done and if the recommendations against supps is truly important, tomorrow, I might stop everything but the cleanse recipe, herbal teas, and water. I'll be interested to hear feedback, experiences, etc.. Thanks Be well, Léna
