Hi Cerri, welcome to the group, i'm new too, my name is Jana. I find that it is

a bunch of bs that the doctor told you that fms should not cause that much pain,

that is so far from the truth. The problem is that these doctors don't have fms

themselves, so how could they know. I also cannot imagine an fms patient

becoming a doctor because usually we are all in too much pain to take on that

type of task. My best advice to you, is to get onto the internet and find a fms

specialist or ruematologist (I cannot spell sorry) It took me years to find the

right doctor and he is great. I had a siezure last week, and this doctor is so

good that he called me personnaly yesterday to find out how I was. Never had a

doctor do that before. I am not a great believer in doctors, there are not

enough good ones out there, but there is always a diamond in the ruff. Keep

trying,

Jana

Thank you, Jana! I appreciate your validating my feelings here. :-) I also

have a problem with doctors because I haven't had much experience with any good

ones. lol. I also agree that the problem is that they don't go through it, so

they don't understand. Does anyone remember when doctors became doctors simply

because they wanted to help people, and not just because of the money they could

make? Gone are the days of house-calls, I'm afraid. Anyway, that's my little

rant for now. Thanks for " listening " ! ~Cerri

You sound just like me. I feel so guilty for not being able to do house work.

And my fiance doesn't help the situation, by calling me a lazy pig, instead of

seeing what is happening to me, as if I had a choice. I cannot understand how

he cannot remember the days when the house was spotless, or when I worked 60hour

weeks and then on top of it took care of over 50 exotic animals that I used to

have. I used to make 3x's the money that my fiance makes, now if I were lazy

this would be damn foolish of me to give up so much. All the things I love to do

now gone. Now I only get 13,000 a year. I feel pathetic at times.

I am saving your emails so that my fiance can read them, to know that it is not

just me, that I'm not just being lazy. I am so greatful for the good days that

I have, although the good days I'm only 50% of what I used to be, but I won't

complain. I don't know how you do it with children, a house and a husband. I

wish that people could understand us more, but alot of them don't, so we sit and

ponder. I feel the same guilt for not being able to do house work. The little

things I do, do not feel like accomplishments at all.
