Guest guest Posted August 4, 2001 Report Share Posted August 4, 2001 Dear Elaine, Not being a doctor I wouldn't give you a prognosis. However, I started my therapy for polio yesterday. One neat exercise for leg cramps is to take a towel, put it around the bottom of foot and pull up on it 10 times. He said it was excellent to do for leg cramps. Pulls on the back of the leg, but causes the cramp to loosen. I feel like I constantly need to stretch the > muscles,sometimes (mostly in my sleep) my leg > stiffens up. I am Lynn and I am 46 (47 soon) and I have spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis plus some fused vertabrae and that is just my back probs....I also have epilepsy and have had trouble with control over the seizures for the past 2 years. What is cmt, remind me?? I forget things a lot....due to the seizures meds. I hope you get some pain relief today.
