Guest guest
Mo and Ks let you get it once you're there. Mo is particularly fast. I got mine within a couple weeks when I needed it for a job. However, many facilities won't let you begin work until you have license in hand. N Scheer MSRDLD On Wed, 14 May 2008 08:12:32 -0400 " Collier " writes: > Virginia doesn't have licensure. Guest guest
, I am the chair of the Maine Board of Licensure of Dietetic Practice. In Maine, you have to have obtained your license before starting work. You cannot practice nor can another dietitian " sign off " your work. It's just like having a license to drive a car......you can't drive on someone else's license. I recommend to anyone who is contemplating moving to a state where there is licensure to get the license NOW so that when you move, you are able to work. There are many things that can hold up the granting of a license including references, background check etc. Best of luck, Cece This message is intended for the use of the addressee only and may contain information that is privileged and confidential.
