First of all, welcome Robin! secondly, you never have to worry about

how long, how sad, or how " whatever " your words are here. We all

know, we have all been there (or need to prepare for), knowledge

really is power. I know what my diagnosis is because I researched -

I believe I have many problems that all stem from my last injury in

October of last year. Now to get a Dr to listen to me and give me an

actual diagnosis so we can work towards getting somewhere near

normal.

I have comlpained here many times, I have cried reading the words of

others because I know what it is that they are going through and am

SO sympathetic!

There are a ton of really helpful, responsive, and understanding

people to lean on - we are all together.

Hope your day is as comfortable as can be.

Tammy

Hi Becki, my name is LaDonna. If you are having a difficult time with

pain and working, talk to your employer about switching to light duty

work, easier hours or less stressful work/duties.

If he/she thinks

this would be a good idea, then maybe you can talk to your doc. to see if you

can get a note/letter switching you to light duty work.

It's just an idea, it may be a little " dumb, " but it's just a thought.

Take care, LaDonna

I am on Ambien to and it has almost stopped working.

I live with anxiety attacks so I take celexa at night along with trazodone

along with Tylenol 3. I take about 14 different med's at night. I still wake

up in the middle of the night or at 5 am and be ready for the day to start.

I'm always telling my Dr this and he says people like you just don't sleep

:{ I'm like uh... okay.....

So I really don't have any suggestions on sleeping. I wish I did.

Hi,

My name is . I suffer from fibro and I also have a brittle bone

disease called osteogenesis Imperfecta. I pretty much live in pain every day

of my life. Right now I am furious with my Dr. He will only give me Tylenol

with codeine and I can only take 1 twice a day. I am on so many night time

pills just to get to sleep it is enough to knock a horse out but barely

fazes me anymore. I also have scoliosis in my back pretty bad. I have to use

a wheelchair most of my time and when I do walk I have to use crutches. I am

so glad I found a place where there are people like me and can understand

the meaning of real pain.

Thank you all for having me.

I am 36 been married 20 yrs to the love of my life

we have 3 children ages 19 16 and 15. I will be a first time mamaw in August

We live in West Jefferson Ohio

I look forward in getting to know you all.

Part of the wonderful world of fibro. We don't sleep. Since I was put on

MsContin I sleep better then I have in years. I am on trazadone as well to help

with the sleep but the MsContin really helped more then anything. I'm not

getting those awful spikes in pain at night like I was getting...at least not as

much.

My doc says the theory behind the " FiboFog " is that we loose a lot of stage 4

sleep. The trazadone is supposed to help put some of that back...but he's

right. People like us don't sleep well. There's still a lot of unknowns about

firbo.

I belong to a few book clubs and get into some good reading.

N,

I bet Dr. Nael can help you with the sleep issues too.

Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or

what can go awry. If you put enough energy into doubt,

something will undoubtedly go wrong.

Instead, focus on the positive possibilities with a hopeful attitude.
