Guest guest
Hi Everyone For the past few weeks I have been experiencing numbness in my left arm while sleeping and when im awake. I haven't had this before and it's on my left arm. I'm wondering if there is a connection to all that's going on with my back, since my pain is mainly on left side, lower left back pain, left hip and leg pain. All on the left side. I can't even sleep on that side now. I didn't start having left sided hip pain, till I had a series of shots, that were done to diagnose if I was a candidate for nerve ablations -- where they go in and kill nerve endings. I think the pain management doctor did some damage, because during one session he hit my sciatic nerve with a needle and I came up off of table screaming and my left leg came up a few inches off of the table. He immediately stopped and apologized. The pain from that was excruciating for days. I went 2 times after that and I have not returned. I think I need another MRI, but my primary doctor probably wont go for that for insurance reasons. My last was a year ago where they found L4, L5, L6 were severely bulging, bone spurs, degenerative disk and severe arthritis. I'm going to go to hospital and get a record of the MRI and find out exactly what was said. I know more is going on, because there is way too much pain. Any advice? -- Fran
