Guest guest
Hi Kim and welcome! You will find some of the world's nicest and most knowledgeable ladies here. I have also chosen Dr. Levin for my TR, hopefully this spring, will be waiting on our income tax return money. I had my TL 5 years ago after giving up hope of ever finding a good man who'd marry me and want babies. I found him and we were married October 6, 2001. Together we have 8 children, but his ex-wife is psycho so we don't get to see his 5 at all. I have DS 19, DD's 15 & 7. Good luck in your journey. Guest guest
Kim, Fireworks! That is a fun idea for New Years Eve! How were the movies? We watched one on TV on HBO a few nights ago, Frequency, it was really good. Doesn't seem like there is much on anymore so when I find a good one I tell everyone about it! lol. Yes, men are just boys in grown-up bodies. is very mature, but you should see us in Wal-Mart. We go down the toy aisle pushing all the buttons we can. We get all the stuffed toys dancing at once! I thought he was going to freak the first time we were together and I started doing it, but he just smiled and joined in and later admitted he was scared to do it in front of me yet for fear I'd run! lol We are anxiously awaiting our W-2's now so we can get our tax money back and schedule my TR. I think I'll go right now and schedule my consult. woo hoo! J. --- Kim wrote: > Hi ! > > I'm glad you had a good New Years. That sounds soooo > fun! Guest guest
Thanks, Kim! It was enough to make my mood great yesterday - even with a headache!! Hee hee! Love to shop!!! Hart EDD 30 June 2002 Have to share this - baby things mentioned I have to share my bargain weekend with you all! We went to the mall on Saturday and while there decided to look around. Well, I spotted this beautiful crib in one of the stores, and the sign said " Last one - $149 " I looked at it, and there was nothing wrong with it besides a small scratch near the bottom that only I saw! It was originally marked $299. Well, I didn't get it that day, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted that crib for such a great price! So, we went back and when the guy finally rang it up, it rang up as $74.99! So, I got a $300 crib for $75!! We then went to shop for baby bedding, and I tell you what, I found great deals there, too! All in all, everything should have cost us over $550 - we got the crib, bedding, ruffle, mobile, diaper stacker, extra sheets...you'll never believe what we paid for all of this - $190!!! The crib is a Capri crib, very light blond wood, and the headboard and footboard are curved outwards like a sleigh bed! We didn't set it up yet, but I am just so excited to have gotten such a nice crib and accessories and saved so much money! There's a lot to be said for after Christmas shopping!!! Guest guest
Actually, no you don't have that many - I keep the countdown days actually on my Excite homepage and it said to check back later (down or something), so I couldn't update the actual number of days left. Sorry but I will update as soon as my Excite page is back working correctly. Hart EDD 30 June 2002 Countdown Anyone needing to be added to the reversal countdown, please e-mail me and I will get you added. Guest guest
I am bummed but March 4th is only 6 weeks away so I'll survive. I know it will all work out for the best. P. (Florida) Kim wrote: Hi ! I'm sorry you're not going on the 17th. I was hoping you would be. :-( Are you okay about this or bummed? You sound kinda bummed... Has anyone heard from , , , or ?? I haven't seen posts from them in quite a while. I have my money and I even have plane tickets on hold but he says " we need to discuss it!! " I am just ready to have it over with even if we don't ttc right away. Guest guest
That is a good idea, Kim. Our next step was going to be putting the names in a hat if we couldn't decide! He said he would go either way on girl's names, but he really wants for a boy. So, we'll see what the votes say! Hart EDD 30 June 2002 Baby names - need some votes We had a funny thing happen today. Jon and I each had our lists of baby names we liked, and we decided we would narrow it down to 2 names each for a boy and for a girl, then vote to decide. Well, I e-mailed him my 2 names each - boy: Aidan or - girl: () or Molly - and he said those were his choices too! So, I said, you pick your favorite one for each and I will pick my favorite, and we will e-mail the choices at the same time. Well, guess what - we picked the opposite names! I picked Aidan and , he picked Molly and ! So, I thought I would let anyone who wanted to put their vote in, do so! Here are the choice - Boy - or Aidan Girl - or Molly Thanks for the votes!! Guest guest
Kim! {{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}}} So glad to see you back to posting and feeling better! I've missed you. Mom is doing pretty well, hasn't crashed for last 3 treatments so that is a record for her. I think they need to do some more adjusting on her insulin and blood pressure meds but I'm sure it all takes time. was quite the trooper. She handled it really well. I'm so proud of her. She's asked if she can still go to practice and just watch. I know having a week off of her sports is about going to kill her so I think we'll do some power-walking since that won't hurt her injury. There sure was alot of blood...I only broke down once though and that was in the car on the way to the hospital. I was driving and DD15 in front with me, DH and in back, DH holding the washcloth over the injury since he's an EMT. Only DD15 saw the tears, I knew I had to be strong for so I think I did pretty well. DH was the most calm having the medical background. The doc let both DH and I stay in the room with her during the stitches...that kind of surprised me but I think he could tell it was helping . Lots of times they want to kick you out. Sorry for the book, we just got home and it's way past time for me to get some rest. The weekend away was fun. Love time with DH. Again, glad to see you back hon. --- Kim wrote: > , > > Thank you for the welcome back! :-) > I am finally feeling good enough to sit at the > computer for longer. Guest guest
Penny, I know not all men are selfish, but I do have 3 sons, and there is just a God-given selfish streak in them. No one wants to help unless you ask or tell them to. I am sort of on strike with the laundry. I have been washing this week and throwing it all in a big pile in the den and letting everyone dig for what they want. I will have to make them clean this up tomorrow though, as I am having a big birthday party for my oldest son and my sis on Sunday (20 people). My sis who has had 2 cervical neck fusions and works full-time as a film make up artist is a sweetheart and visiting for a month. However, she is having to help me get ready for her own B-day party, which I am sure she does not feel like doing either after just finishing up a shoot for 8 weeks working 12 hour days 6 days a week. My husband is punishing me for not having sex by going hunting for the 2nd time this week, leaving the housework, shopping for the party, cooking, etc, all up to me and my sis. My 9 and 10 yr. olds can help some, and I did pay someone to mow the lawn yesterday. As for men, this is my 2nd marriage; been married for 13 years to this jerk, and he became the most self-centered a**hole after the babies started coming. One I get out of this thing (I am waiting for my mortgage pre-payment penalty to go away in Feb, 2005) then I am selling my house and bailing out. I prefer the company of women more anyhow (I am not a lesbian, but probably should have been-hehe). I know they say never say never, but I do not need a man around anymore bothering me, messing up my bathrooms, kitchen, etc, and giving nothing back except a paycheck. I make the same amount of money he does, and supported him while he was out of work for 2 1/2 years, so I definitely don't need anything except child support. If I ever become disabled, at least I do have short and long term disability. Okay, I have been rambling my mouth too much for the last 2 days, and will shut up now, order a pizza, and crash on the couch for the rest of the night. Best, Kim > Sorry to hear how selfish he is.. I know just how you feel painwise. I see other people write that they feel as if they have been run over by a truck .. well I totally agree with that. For the first few hours after waking up all I can do is to lie there groaning, luckily there is no one to hear me! > > Wouldn't it be lovely if these errant partners could feel as we do, say one day a week!
