Guest guest
I understand what you are saying. I have the moodiness according to my family. I am a 51 soon to be 52 year old female. They did put me on HRT at the age of 44 and I took that for 5 years. It helped me imensely with the bloating and various other things like heavy bleeding. (excuse me guys). I do have the moon face, the hunch back is not to bad yet, my face looks like those pictures of prednisone people. I am on 10 mg a day unless I get sick then it is upped. It depends on how sick I am. Now I have other things I mainly have addisons, d. insipidus, all forms of arthritis, DVT, ankyling spondilitis, and many other minor things so all of those affect me also. I realize that others are aganist prednisone but for me it is a good t hing inspite of the side effects. I wear a lot of dresses or tops that are gathered at the bust line to help with the swelling of the tummy area. The weight gain is not good, Ihate the stares, I am not that heavy, but I feel heavy, does that make sense? However it is not my problem that others put so much value on looks they are just to superficial and someday their looks will fade and then what will they have? Where as we will ahve gotten way beyond that and still have friends. The pain in the tummy area is pretty bad until you get to menopause time and then it is over. Has any of this helped? If not just ask anything else. Gwen
