Guest guest
Hi Kim! My consultation is next Tuesday, the 8th. I would love to have a buddy, I just don't know when I can get it done! Lets talk more, I keep flip flopping about doing this! I'm kind of scared, like " am I doing the right thing? " etc. Do any of you have the same feelings? Let me know what you find out on your phone call to Dr. Levin! PS. New years was great, especially since I slept right thru it! LOL my DH and all 6 kids stayed up though! Guest guest
: I'm here, It was awfully quite yesterday morning also. Did you see 's post, she's five days late! I love hearing good news like that. Can't wait until I have my TR so I can post such wonderful news and have all that " excitement " . I am so glad to have this group, I feel like we all share in each others joys and sorrows, what a wonderful support group! My kids are all in school to, except for the 20 year old she goes to college partime and works full time. I'm just a work, to bad it's 62 degrees and sunny in Nashville. I'd rather be out playing with my horses, oh well - another day another dollar, another day closer to TR G. Nashville, TN Wow! Everyone is so quiet this morning! What is up!?! I'm babysitting for my best friends 4 year old today, he is the youngest of 9 kids (yes, they are ALL my best friend and her husbands together!) (she happens to think I'm crazy for wanting more kids! LOL) and I'm getting sick again. I'm trying to get some work done on the computer (I'm a real estate agent and a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator--elected secretary of our group), we have a man here working on our house and banging with a hammer in the basement, the dogs are barking at the guy working in the basement and I've got the little fella (Connor) watching a movie. All my kids are in school and I feel awful. My whole body hurts.........and I have a three hour class at church tonight! We missed the same class in November because my husband was sick and I'll be darned if I'm going to miss this round! Anyway, even though my youngest is 5, almost 6, its nice to have a little four year old around this morning! He is so cute and so good! PS. If somebody is bored, you can email me at cindytay@... Guest guest
I don't blame you for what you call rambling! I would be too! I can only imagine how you must be feeling! You are so lucky though! My husband's birthday, as you remember, is on Thursday, the 17th, and he is leaving for Germany tomorrow, so guess its God's plans that I didn't get it done with you as a buddy. As sad as that makes me, I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to hear how you do! I will be thinking and praying for you! Be strong! You can do it! Love, Kim, > > Wow Kim! Guest guest
Oh you are sooo lucky! DH and I will be OLD before either of us can retire. He has 5 children from an ex who has two college degrees but has decided welfare is what she wants so he basically still supports them all. My paycheck supports us, his is for a few extras and that's it. It's sooo obvious I didn't marry him for money. He's such a great guy though so it's really a bargain. I love him SOOOOOOOOo much! Never met anyone like him before and can't believe we've only been together a year, seems like a lifetime. Definate soul mates. I just knew if I ever met my soul mate he'd be broke, it's my luck. lol. --- wrote: > That would be wonderful! Wow, I'm happy for you! Guest guest
Brag all you want! Its so nice to hear stories like that! My oldest DD is 12 and has been a thorn in my side since day one. I really feel bad saying that, but its true. I love her to death, she's smart, beautiful, but she is such a brat! Mouthy, obnoxious sometimes, bossy.......uugghh! We clash so bad, yet she loves me so much, but she drives me absolutely NUTS. Aren't I awful? My other two, DS 9, is a total sweetheart, could do no wrong in my eyes! and my youngest DD 5, is a doll! But can be a rascal! My oldest is just very negative, always has something snotty to say and gets so annoying. I feel so bad for feeling this way! Does anybody have any suggestions? She has always been difficult,,,,,,,everyone used to say " oh, she'll grow out of it " but its just getting worse She has been on Ritalin for about three years now (thank GOD) and it does help, but she gets angry that she " has to take pills " . Its just so hard. Her behavior has caused a lot of problems with me and my DH too. Sometimes I just feel like the worst mother in the world because of this. I feel so crummy. Guest guest
Not yet, alot will depend on how my mom is doing health-wise closer to that time. really isn't interested in wrestling with other girls and that is what nationals would be, so we'll have to see, I don't want to talk her into doing something she doesn't want to do. But we do have the motel booked so we'll keep fingers crossed. And yes, it was a WONDERFUL weekend! --- wrote: > Wow! You had a great weekend, huh? Congrats on your > daughters win! Guest guest
It would be very rare to be measles, I would think, but I am not sure. I don't even have a clue what they would look like! I guess it is not something you really worry about, so I never read up on it. Sorry . Can you call your doc, though and ask?? I will be back on in a little while, going to try to talk to my boss about the admin. Hart EDD 30 June 2002 > Does anybody know what the measles look like? Guest guest
Hi , I just popped over here real quick, she just fell asleep. Boy has she gone downhill fast and I can't get her into the doctor until 1:30. I'm out of liquid pain med., I can't get ahold of my mother, so I called my neighbor and she is running to the store for me. Yes, her fever is around 103 and she has a terrible headache and the dry heaves. I'm very concerned as you can imagine! Guest guest
Your mom sounds like DH's mom too. But she's always treated him badly. Only time she's happy is when she has him under her thumb. I've given him the courage to stand up to her so now she hates me. Oh well. We recently changed our phone number so she can't call and rag at him anymore. He doesn't deserve it. He's a wonderful hard-working man and all she ever talked about when she called is how he needs to get a second job (during his busy seasons he already puts in as much as 96 hours a week!), call his ex-wife about the kids (so he can take her abuse also) and how he's invited over but not me or the kids. She even wanted DH to make his ex's car payments because SHE co-signed for her and it wasn't getting paid! Yeah right. It's hard having a mom like that, I can't understand how anyone can treat their child like that, but it does happen unfortunately...so...you surround yourself with positive influences and go on with your life...that is all you can do since you can't control others. I'm too funny, I got an ICQ from some guy from Turkey and I told him I don't chat with people I don't know and he replied by saying " F You " and then " F off " and I told him he was a rude turkish man and he should be ashamed of himself for talking to an American Christian woman like that. I told him that Americans are not rude like that. he aplogized! I also told him that " ooohhh, big Turkish man learning big American words like that " Too funny. Guest guest
, Looks like our DD's were having the same tough luck! Glad to hear she's being brave about it. Injuries can be a very scary thing for children.
