Hi ,Jim Humble says citric acid and MMS will not harm teeth... I've been brushing now with MMS for over a year, no teeth issues, no cavities... This is also true if lemon, or lime juice is used, will not harm teeth..This is from Jim Humble's book "The Miracle Mineral Supplement of the 21st Century," page 12>>>MMS works fast.Use 10 drops of MMS in a glass and add 50 drops of lemon, or lime juice, or 10% citric acid solution in the same glass (if using 50% citric acid, use 10 drops). As usual swirl the mixture, wait 3 minutes (20 seconds for 50% citric acid) and then add about ¼ glass of water. Use this solution to brush the teeth. You can use the same solution the brush your teeth and gums two or three times a day when you are first starting. Be sure to brush your gums. Use a new solution every morning. The MMS will brighten and strengthen the enamel on your teeth. What really happens is that the MMS kills the

virus on the enamel that ordinarily does the damage>>>As for any kind of acidic juice such as apple cider vinegar, I always use a straw to avoid the juice touching my teeth.. Hi Jim,How's you flu thing going? Are you back on your feet yet?I want to believe that MMS1 won't harm teeth, but when you say it won't and in the same post say that lemon juice won't etch tooth enamel, it makes me doubtful. Lemon juice is highly acidic until it's metabolized, at which time it becomes alkaline. Unfortunately that's a while after it has passed the teeth. I drink lemon water all the time, taking care to use a straw and rinse my mouth afterward with plain water. When I don't, it doesn't take long for my teeth to become very sensitive. Last week I did the master cleanse, which is lemon/maple/cayenne and for some reason, didn't think about using a straw. BIG MISTAKE! I had to taper off the fast a couple days early, as my teeth were really suffering; every hairline crak in the enamel, every worn spot, and any exposed base of the teeth, were screaming at me, 'STOP!'SO, your saying that lemon juice won't hurt the teeth, which contradicts what i've heard everywhere else, puts the safety of MMS1 for teeth in question. I sure hope you're right about MMS1, as I'd very much like to use it on my teeth and also whiten them a bit.Be well,LénaHi ,if it works let me know I will do it ,Thank you MarieTo: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Tue, March 1, 2011 7:37:31 PMSubject: Re: tooth enamel appears as if dipped in acid? Hi Jim and Lena (and all),I think when Jim mentioned lemon juice - he meant when it was mixed with the MMS that it would turn alkaline. (Because I know Jim drinks lemon juice with a straw) There is an easy way to test all the activators and MMS and that would be to activate some then dip in a pH test strip.

This would all be interesting to know.  It makes sense though since there is a chemical reaction.

I've got my puzzled face on now because I'm not really sure what MMS1 does chemically speaking to teeth. I activate with fresh lemon juice. My personal experience has been that at higher drops (15 activated drops) on a daily basis, without vigorous water rinsing afterwards, I lost a significant amount of enamel within 4 months time and also acquired what felt like an ulcer in my stomach. This was a few years ago. Don't get me wrong, MMS saved my life, but it definitely had a negative impact on my teeth, stomach and bowels - all corrected now. Right now, I take MMS at only 5 drops and rinse with plain water vigorously afterwards, and this has ended the tooth enamel problem. Perhaps some of us have different biochemistry in our mouths to account for the varied tooth enamel experiences??? Don't know, however, since it causes severe stomach lining pain, my uneducated guess would be that MMS is acidic before it becomes metabolized. How/why else would both teeth and stomach become stripped if it wasn't so??Regards,Lydia

Just did the pH test and used 3 drops MMS and 15 drops white vinegar - waited 10 minutes and put the strip in.  It was so acidic that it was off the chart white! hmmmmmLydia, last year I was determined to do the MMS1000 protocol. I lasted three weeks and had to quit because my stomach was burned.  It was very painful - like you say, like an ulcer.  Well it wasn't the MMS, it was the citric acid.  It took a long time for my stomach to heal.  Then I tried MMS with apple cider vinegar and no problems.  Then I tried one dose with one drop MMS and 5 drops CA solution and my stomach killed me.  I cannot tolerate the  CA.  Grapefruit seed extract (liquid) burns my stomach also (and my bladder).  My stomach doesn't do too well with oil of oregano either. Not that this helps the tooth situation, but you might want to try ACV as your activator- it's easier on the stomach.

Hi ,I'm so grateful to you for following through and testing this, although it's discouraging, because I'd really hoped it wouldn't be so.When I took MMS1, I couldn't handle the citric acid. I'd already learned that wasn't fro me in drink mixes that had a lot. I did MMS1 with ACV, and still knew it was hard on the stomach, which is why I always took it with food and gained weight in the process. :(Perhaps not everyone is affected this way.I, for one, won't be whitening my teeth with it, even if activated with ACV.Be well,LénaJust did the pH test and used 3 drops MMS and 15 drops white vinegar - waited 10 minutes and put the strip in. Thanks , I'll try the ACV as an activator tomorrow. I'm hoping that it enables my son to tolerate it as his stomach is ultra sensitive and I haven't been able to keep him on MMS for more than a few days at a time due to stomach pain. This will be great if it works out for him.... Thanks again,Lydia
