,

I am originally from the Chicago suburbs. I moved out to the Santa Clarita

Valley, about 50 miles north of LA, California in 1985. I remarried,

divorced and remarried Phil out here. I was divorced twice before that. It

took me 4 marriages to find a gem and then to find out he has PSC. We just

celebrated our 3rd anniversary. I pray everyday that our life together

won't be cut short. Why does this disease have to happen to such good

people. I certainly don't quite understand God's reasoning for this one.

Anyway back to where we live, my Dad, Sister and Brother live in Greenbay

and Oshkosh,Wisconsin, my Daughter, her husband and her 2 girls live in,

Sabula Iowa, my Son and his wife and 1boy & 2 girls live in DeKalb,

Illinois. My sister lived out here for 28 years and then went back to the

midwest cause she suddenly took a liking to snow and didn't like the people

out here. It is harder to make friends out here people seem to do their own

thing and don't want to commit but we got into church and square dancing and

found some really good friends - it's still not the same as the Midwest. I

just can't take the weather, bugs and humidity back there so we stay here

without family.

Diane,

Just curious, how does your Lupus manefest itself. My second husband's

exwife had it where it ate away her joints and Phils exwife has it where it

shuts down her kidneys. Jacquelyn was asking about it because she at one

time was diagnosed as having it and now is wondering if she does have it.

You might try and e-mail her directly and talk with her about it

Biddy,

I forwarded your message on to Jacquelyn. When she gets on the computer she

can't stay on too long so direct messages work better because she is viewing

the group messages off the web.

Your message sounded so sad. I wish there was more that could be done for

you. I glad you have the connection with God because he sure can give a

person peace through the worst adversity.
