Hi!

I can't stand it when two things are making noise at the same time. I

can't

stand it when people keep the TV and want to talk or when my husband has

the TV on and my daughter is playing her CD's. I just tell my family that my

nerves are very fragile and they are stepping on them. I like complete quiet

other than the sounds of nature and nature better not get too loud.

I also can smell things that others can't smell. I sniff a lot and do not

even

realize it. I sniff food at the store to tell if it is fresh or not. People

each have

an unique smell about them. I can smell a storm in the air. I am glad that I

am not alone in this strangeness. Penny G.

Oh Penny! Are you sure we aren't twins????? hahahaha! That sounds

sooooo much like me and my household. I hate trying to talk over top

of the television and I have been known to just go get some earplugs

and pop them in when it gets on my nerves too much. I love

music...but it must be played softly..nature sounds are fabulous,

but I really want to strangle those little birdies outside my

bedroom window sometimes because they are so durned LOUD!! hehe! I

prefer complete quiet whenever possible. I too sniff foods in the

store..and I get some reeeealllly strange looks sometimes when I do.

I don't care though, let 'em think what they will...I refuse to

spend my few grocery dollars on anything that is " less than fresh " .

Blessings,

Pixi

I'm the same way about noises. I feel like I am going to pull my hair out when

even there is just a conversation going on....My fiance' says I can smell a

mosquito fart a mile away.

Well the smell I do have, but not the noise. I like things very loud. I can

only hear at a 100 decibals. So, for me any sound lowerer than that, I can't

hear. In other words, I hear zilch. What drives me crazy when someone keeps

sighing all day long. (when i Have my h.aids on). It drives me insane, I felt

like

going to the person, will you please do soemthing about that sighing. I

swear, I think that person is going to have a heart attack. I never hear any one

huffing and puffing like that.
