I have been exposed to Toxic mold for a few years and now I very sick and I don't know what to write on the report except what my symptoms are. any help would be appreciated. getz66@... Guest guest Posted March 15, 2001 Report Share Posted March 15, 2001 When I filed my paperwork to make a claim for workmen's comp due to my exposure to mold, as well as other irritants, in my workplace I listed my symptoms and that the building was the suspected cause. I had been under treatment by my primary care physician for 3 years for the illness but only after other workers came forward from another doctor did we find the cause was due to the building. I was examined by a specialist in the field of sick building syndrome, along with all other workers who had complained of the associated symptoms and many of us where diagnosed as having sick building syndrome. The doctor diagnosed the problem as sick building syndrome but the medical problems he listed were unique and he advised us that they were recognized as actual health problems by the AMA. The diagnosis was Reactive airways dysfunction with both upper airways involvement, chemical irritant rhinosinusitis and asthma induced by sick building chemicals at my employer. You can download a free evaluation copy of their software from their website which gives you free access to all of their symbols/pictures. I think it's a 30 day trial.
