Guest guest
Dear Sharon, I am so so sorry that you are suffering so. Also so many on this list. There is so much I for one do not know about pain. I know my son, and husband are in constant pain. I have been also but I have intermissions where I ahve a good day and don't hurt after about 10. Yesterday was a almost pain free day. I have no ideas on what or whys. But I have hurt almost constantly for months.....but had months before that of not much pain. I have certain things that just hurt almost all the time tho. My one foot, which I am sure there is a tendon tore in half... my toes are curling on that foot since I tore it....and after a series of specialists and foot docs and thousands of bucks... no diagnoses....but I guess there IS one in the file....but I was nto told.... found out by accident.......... and then my back where the car accident.... almost brok me in two......there is cell memory they tell me....... and it feels like the day after.......... now generalized to many points... but to understand .... why and what to do? we have a lot of research to do.... to try and help ourselves. Losing a kidney is no small thing. I can't imagine and I will pray for you. (((((((((hugs))))))))) take care........dash Re: Don't know how to cope - Dani Dear Dash, I hurt from head to toe right now. Guest guest
I understand not knowing what is what pain. I have a heart condition that can go into the back.......and I have to ignore most of the pain... and then have to know what to respond to so I don't just let myself die. I also understand the words... screaming.......as I use them often to explain my back pain. ((((hugs)))) dash Re: Don't know how to cope - Dani Dear Dash, I hurt from head to toe right now. Guest guest
Dear Sharon I am so sorry to hear of your pain. Remember time will take the pain away. God Bless you Sharon. I know what you mean. I have had multiple serious surgery's myself. It is very hard to distinguish where the pain is coming from. I will pray for you. I truly feel for you. I want to tell you that you are loved and taken care of by God. He will heal your pain. I am not trying to preach to you yet I know you are a believer so I feel You would welcome His word or any words of encouragement that is of Him. Guest guest
Dear Annya, Pamela, and others, There have been many times in the last decade when I have given serious though to suicide...moments when I felt that I could not go through another day of pain, but yet I did, and in the end, I persevered. The only thing that has kept me alive during the last 10 years is a very strong Christian faith and a VERY strong belief in heaven and hell. And if life on this earth hurts this bad, can you imagine what an eternity in hell must feel like?? Speaking for myself, I am not willing to take the risk. Another reason for not ending my own life is that I have seen first hand what suicide does to those left behind. My husband lost his oldest son in 1992 to suicide by hanging while high on crack. I have seen the devastation in Elwyns life, and 12 years later, the pain is still there. Maybe it is not as sharp, but it is always there. No matter your reason for killing yourself or how many notes you leave for loved ones, they are always going to feel guilty and blame themself for not doing more to help you and recognize the signs. So, I implore you.... if you are at that point and feel that you have nobody to turn to, pick up your phone and call me. My home phone # is included as a part of my automated sign\ature. I may not have the answer to your problem, but often it helps to just have a friendly ear to listen to. Prayerfully yours, Sharon - Memphis, TN Phone " ..and with his stripes, we ARE healed! Guest guest
--- Sharon, the way mine started was when I had a surgical procedure on my throat 5 years ago. I woke up with screaming muscle pain that lasted a year before I realized that I had an illness and went to a doctor to find out what it was. Then, in retrospect, I can remember periods all during my life that I had the same pains, but they didn't last long and I discounted them at the time. Any time your body is stressed, it can cause a flare. Surgery certainly qualifies for bodily stress. I have heard that even if you get better and then have more surgery it starts over again. The Dr. Vickery Fibromyalgia package that I buy online and have auto- shiped monthly by far is the best program and by far the least expensive program that I have come across. When compliant with the 3 times daily doses, I can function on some level. Oh, I still have pain and fatigue and migraine headaches, but I am much, much better when on his supplements. And I can get off of pain meds by and large and can even get off of Celebrex. But you have to take them just as you would a perscription drug, and that's a drag. And I have been lots of places for help and keep going back to Dr. Vickery's protocol. And no, I'm not sellling them! Guest guest
Dear Pamela, I could get into a long, philosophical debate with you on the issue of suicide and the Bible, but that is not the purpose of this list. The purpose is to provide help and support to others who are dealing with fibro pain. I do not know what you are going through right now...only you and God know the answer to that. I do know that I live in hell on earth as relates to my fibro pain. And today is especially bad, because it marks the one year anniversary of the death of my mother. So I will leave it up to you and each individual on this as to whether suicide condemns you to hell or not. Speaking for myself, whether it comes out and says so in scripture or not, I am not willing to take the chance. ARE YOU??? gentle hugs, Sharon - Memphis, TN Phone " ..and with his stripes, we ARE healed! " Isaiah 53:
Guest guest
Dear Pamela, Do you not realize that there is nobody more worthy to spend the money on. I would almost take the money out of my own pocket and give it to you. God made you, Pamela, and as the saying goes, God didnt make no junk. God loves you, your family loves you, everyone on this list loves you. PLEASE.....if you need to talk, call me. My # is , and you can call me collect if you need to. I am availablel 24/7 to talk to you. I can understand how you cannot finish your job training.... I would not be able to either. I can barelyi stand long enough to cook supperl, much less on my feet long enough to work as a phlebotomist. Do not give up, Pamela. For Gods sake, if you need to talk, call me or one of the other list members who have graciously given you their phone number. We are here to try to help you. Hugs, prayers, and more prayers, Sharon - Memphis, TN Phone " ..and with his stripes, we ARE healed! " Isaiah 53:
