Cam, I too am a weeper :). I know what you mean by your kitties comin

to you. My cats used to do the same thing, but mostly my dog does it.

He can always make me laugh even on the worst of days. He seems to know

when Im at my worst, and will do some funky kind of dance for me,

always makes me laugh. Animals are so precious!! Its been raining here

for two days as well, but Ive also been thinking about all those people

that have been losing their homes and lives due to floods.

Take care

Bless you

Deb

Tina,

all I can say is ouch!

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. Mental and verbal abuse (for those that are only dealing with one or both

of these) can damage just as much or worse than physical abuse. This should not

be tolerated, not even once b/c once is one time too many. If you suspect that

this is happening to you pls get help.

Have a nice day everyone.

Deb....I am so glad we both love kitties. I could not imagine a life

without animals....there is almost a spiritual connection between us.

and I went to the local movie this afternoon and it was AWFUL!!!!!

Usually that place only carries the art films like " Girl with the

Pearl Earring. " So we went charging off and it was " Connie and

Carla " . Oh my, no plot, no interesting characters....all about men

in drag...which is not exactly entertainment. We laughed and laughed

because it was so terrible!!!! Tonight we have an old tape of

" Alias " which we always watch and giggle at. Sometimes on Sunday

night PBS has Masterpiece Theater which is our favorite, but it is on

the same time as " Alias " so thank goodness for the VCR. There

just isn't enough good stuff to watch on TV. So that's my sermon for

tonight. Love, The Weeper>>

Cam, I had two beautiful cats both of them lived for 18 years. Now my

little dog is 14 years old. I miss my cats terribly, but still cant

bring myself to get another one. One has been gone 2 years now and one

has been gone just about a year now. I have them both buried in the

back, and still when I think of them I miss them so so much.

My husband and I love to watch movies too. We usually rent many dvds

when he is home, because he works away from home so much, its one of

our favorite past times together, eating and watching movies, hehe.

He is watching one now, but I just cant get into that one at all, and

Ive had a headache all day, so I just had a nice hot epsom salt bath,

which helps alot with my lower back pain and sometimes will relax my

shoulders enough to relieve a headache somehow. Have a wonderful day!!

Hugs

It was very hard. He would still be over there if he hadn't gotten injured. He's

right now at Walter Army Medical Center in DC. He gets weekend passes and

comes home. He had already been in Iraq over a year and they were preparing to

come home when his unit got extended until July. He's got a lot of therapy to do

so he won't be going back over to be with them.

Please tell me more about your bird. I have not heard that name before. Is it

like a parrot???? I do envy you....except that I adore my cats. Maybe when I

come back in my next life I will have dozens and dozens of parrots!! Hugs,

Camilla

Re: Cam

What a shame you can't have one. They are such fascinating creatures. I just

love to sit and listen to my grey jabber. He comes out with the funniest things

sometimes :-) Take care!

Yeah I was thinking the same thing when he called to tell me he was being sent

to Walter . He doesn't know yet when they'll release him. It's really been

rough without him. Thank God for my mother. She moved in with me to help take

care of the kids and me and said she'd stay until he came home for good.

head????? My head is made of light weight cement and has a nice softness to

it!!! LOL. I get my brace next week so we will see what happens. I can

hardly wait....NOT!!!!!!! Love, Cam

You are so right!! I have know here for 15 years (since I was 10

years old). We went through some really rough spots. Just about 2

weeks ago she got a new roommate and my " friend " told her Mom (who is

like my second MOM) that her and her roommate are closer and will be

closer then her and I ever were.

At first it hurt (for like 2 minutes)But then I realized that its not

worth it. I'm doing it for her son(who I call my nephew) .

My " friend " is a single parent and she is what I think is very

abusive to her son. My hubby and I want him to have some kind of idea

of what a family is like. Thankfully my hubby understands my pain and

is very hard on me about taking care of myself, and has agreed to

help with my nephew. He also thinks that I should end my friendship

with this girl because its nothing but stress which induces my

pain....

Thank you so much for understanding! I really took your words to

heart and I am carefully rethinking my friendships (not just with her)
