Post-Decompression TMJ problems

Dear Group,

I need to talk to any of you who have post decompression TMJ problems. I

would like to talk to you especially if you did not have TMJ problems

before your surgery or you are a patient of Dr. Milhorat.

I have another tooth that needs to be pulled due to infection. I am

unable to have it pulled because my jaw locks if it is opened more than

20mm. That is not enough room for my dentist to work. So I am stuck

with a nightmare tooth ache and no chance for help any time soon.

I am seeing an oral surgeon next week. Hopefully, he can figure out what

is wrong and get me some help. I have intense jaw pain. My lower jaw

now wants to jut forward and rest in front of instead of behind the upper

jaw. Also, my jaw dislocates. I had none of these symptoms before my

surgery. As a result, Medicare with pay for treatment of it as a

medical, not dental problem.

Again, anyone who has gone through this or is going through this, please

write to me. I need help to understand this from a chiari angle.
