Hi Lena,I firmly believe the only folks who get well long term from chronic Lyme quickly are those who have had the disease in the first place...Your current herx is a testament that getting over Lyme and co's is a very long term process... You don't get well from chronic

Lyme in a year or two or three, but many years, so just keep chipping away at it..  And be thankful this is not mental, physicalis the least of the two evils... Feverfew is amazing stuff, it works so quickly on psoriasis, well I guess I can say that now that you two see how quickly it works..

It is antimocrobialand also a good antiinflammatory...I am not sure if just 380 mg (leaves) will kill a lot of pathogens, so maybe it contributed, but alone I don't think it would affect much.

I don't seem to herx from it... I take 380 mg of leaves every other night, and on the other nights, 500 mg of extract and really don't notice any direct killing effect.. Take care,Jim

Re: Re: OT:

Hi Jim et al,

Rifed mycoplasma frx last night after not doing so for about a month, with surprising amount of herxing today. Just physical pain; not mental; that's nice. Nothing I haven't had before, no biggie. (Does it ever end?)

However, the only new thing I've been doing is feverfew, which seems to be shrinking my psoriasis patches in a promising way. Could there be any relationship between this and the apparent myco flare (judging by the noticeable die-off)?

Now I'm in too much discomfort to sit and research feverfew dosage, so I hope someone here has knowledge or experience of feverfew. I'd rather not back off it if it's not directly connected, though I've switched to just the ABPA for balancing and have stopped the FScan myco frx for now.

Thanks for any help, folks.

Be well,Léna

Hi Jim,At 65, I'm comfortably resigned to the fact that I'll be fighting Lyme the rest of my life, but now realize my life won't have to be an ugly battlefield for the duration. For about a week now, I've taken a 380mg cap with every meal. That's a lot compared to the recommended 240mg. per day in the article.(but then, the official max for lots of things isn't necessarily relevant when fighting Lyme. The Food and Drug clowns just came out with their new guideline of 1/2 tsp of salt (no mention of quality) per day, and we all know how silly that is, in light of how S & C has been a major successful protocol for killing Lyme (and not the Lymie). Thank goodness i always craved salt, chose sea salt about 40 years ago. That probably kept my Lyme at bay for a long time. I've also been taking gotu kola with the Feverfew, as well as applying gotu kola topically mixed with DMSO, glycerin and CS. As soon my order comes, I'll add feverfew tincture to the mix. It's just so exciting to see day to day change for the better in a 20yr. long rash that was only getting worse and worse. The only time it backed off was at the onset of S & C, but then it regrouped and hasn't responded to much else, so I'm hopeful that this new trend continues. I realize a great deal depends on how well I can assist my liver. The article's mention of it being an anti-inflammatory that could also be immune- suppressant has made me watchful, as I don't want to encourage my critters.Hang in there with you migraines. Hope the slow accumulation of feverfew helps them, but remember that stopping it could rebound and make them worse. meanwhile, we can hope that all this ridiculous cold passes soon.Be well,LénaHi Lena,I firmly believe the only folks who get well long term from chronic Lyme quickly are those who have had the disease in the first place...Your current herx is a testament that getting over Lyme and co's is a very long term process...
